Willy Rotti

Willy Rotti is president of Diamond club of Antwerp. He is also vice president of the Belgian Federation of Diamond Bourses, and for more than ten years was a member of the board of HRD (now the Antwerp World Diamond Centre), first as treasurer, later as vice president. After studying law, economics and arts at universities in Belgium and England, Mr. Rotti joined his father’s diamond manufacturing business, which is the only company he has ever worked for. The Rotti family has been in the diamond business for more than 120 years and was among the founders of the Diamantclub van Antwerpen, Belgium's oldest diamond exchange. Since 1890, four generations of Rotti's have manufactured and traded diamonds in the Scheldt City. Rotti's father, Adolphe, served not only as the club's president but also was the longest serving president of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB), serving from 1948 to 1965. Willy Rotti currently serves as a board member of the World Diamond Mark Foundation and is its Treasurer.
